Immigration - Intergroup Relations (Research)

Since 2012 there is a collaboration with the Centre for European Constitutional Law and the Fundamental Rights Agency of the EU to implement research protocols regarding fundamental rights in Greece. With this project we formed employees of local authorities in the 13 peripheries of Greece to act concerning the inclusion of minorities.

 

Social inclusion and political participation of immigrants from and towards Greece

Another research project concerning immigration is the PhD of Ms Hlektra Diakolambrianou. She investigates psychological and socio-political well-being of immigrants in Greece as well as of Greek immigrants in the US and Australia, of different generations and looks at the factors influencing their political participation in the host countries.
